Advanced Process Control(APC) & PID Tuning Education


APC (Advanced Process Control) generally refers to Multi-variable Model predictive controller. APC configures the complex multi loop process to a single process model and performs optimal control and make it stable. Decrease of process variation by APC is far more superior to Feed-back PID Controller, and this leads to superior process productivity. The anticipated effect of APC application is productivity increase, quality enhancement, Energy minimization, process stabilization.

PID Tuning is process that adjust PID parameter to maximize Controller performance. Successful PID controller tuning leads to process stabilizatin, operator productivity increase.

Education Program

In this course user understand basic APC system concepts and educated control design for process stabilization and optimization and PID basic concept and tuning, and process improvement througt the process control

This course consists of APC basic concept, design, continuous process APC Solution(HIECON-I 700), Batch process APC Solution(HPCB) feature and application, case study, PID basic concept and tuning method and with step by step practice user can apply it on the spot.
