Energy Network Optimization using ENetOPT Education


ENetOPT is the software package that visually models energy network composed of energy producing
device such boiler or furnaces and energy consuming, converting devices such as electricity
turbine, heat exchanger, or distillatin towers. With the graplical model ENetOPT performs
complex-wide steam/condensate balance, optimization and what-if simulation.
Infotrol Technology Co. Ltd. provides Energy Network Optimization course using ENetOPT
and program feature is as follows.

Energy Balance

Energy Balance is basic step in plant energy management. This process resolves the difference between energy production and consumption and enhances the data reliability, and through thi balance user can identify energy loss, measurement error, or network configuratin error.

What-if Simulation

Using energy network simulation user can simulate energy network balance, optimization for changed plant equitment or operation conditions, before process revamp or improvement.

Main Energy Device Efficiency Management

Efficiency calculation block for energy equipment such as turbine or heat exchanger is imbedded so that equipment performance index can be managed.

Energy Network Optimal Operating Condition

Energy optimization calculates the network operating contition to minimize the operating cost of boiler, turbine, and various other device under the various constraints.

Data interface

ENetOPT can read and write field data through OPC and database proprietary interface module.Balance and optimization can be performed automatically under configured time interval and also can be performed using histtorical data logs.

Web-based Energy Management System

ENetOPT balance and optimization is written to external databases using data tag. The calculation result can be company-wide shared by constructing EMS (Energy Management System) and reported to user by user configured form. This framework can by also used to manage device efficiency, energy intensity and other energy magement.
